Muir manufactures all different sizes and styles of anchor winches to suit almost all sizes of watercraft up to 150m in length. Winches and windlass styles include vertical winches, horizontal winches and drum winches. Accessories include chain stoppers, chain compressors, chain pipes, Chain rollers, and fairlead rollers. Manufacturing is carried out in Kingston, Tasmania.
Winches and equipment are suitable for recreational vessels, commercial vessels, and defence vessels. Muir anchoring equipment is generally accepted globally as the highest quality and strongest, most long lasting equipment of its kind. As a result Muir gear is the safest and most trustworthy anchoring gear.
