TMN wins over international audience at ASMEX 2019

TMN Chair Rob Miley and Roger Janes from Richardson Devine Marine Constructions, supported by Jeremy Spear from Spear Green, and assisted by Brand Tasmania made a major presentation to Day 1 of this years ASMEX Conference at Sanctuary Cove.

ASMEX organiser Jenny Brown and CEO David Good were generous in providing a regional deep dive to Tasmania this year. Fortunately with support from RDM and AIMEX the TMN responded positively and supported in the room by industry champions Muir, Tasmania punched above its weight and delivered a powerful message to the international audience.

Opening with a quality video supplied by Brand Tasmania and followed by an overview from the TMN Chair allowed Roger Janes to focus on the quality, depth and experience that customers can expect from Tasmania firms whether global or domestic. Jeremy Spears supported the Tasmanian industry capability from his extensive experience working with yards in the state.
Overall we received great feedback and accolades and the conference was a great success with 150 delegates(60 international) and 230 for the Gala Dinner and Awards.
